You are welcome to keep your children with you in the pew, leave them in the nursery with our trained childcare workers, or send them Children’s Chapel for part of the service, or a combination.  We also offer a Children’s Worship & Play service once a month and Sunday School on a weekly basis. To support whatever decision is right for your family, we offer:

Children’s Worship Bags – These colorful bags are at the entrances to the sanctuary and are filled with coloring books, Bible story books, and other activities to engage your children during worship. (Please return the bags after the service.)

Childcare is available from 8:45am to 12:15pm for infants and toddlers in our nursery that is filled with books and toys.   The nursery is next to the Parish Hall.  You are welcome to come and get your child from the nursery at the Peace so that they can share in communion with the congregation.

Children’s Chapel is offered during the 9:00 am service (new in Spring 2018) and the 11:00 service for children PreK – 2nd grades.  Children begin in the nave with their parents and leave for Children’s Chapel before the lessons. Children’s Chapel includes music, prayer and lectionary-based Bible stories. Children return the sanctuary at the Peace so that they can share in Communion with the congregation. Volunteers are often needed to assist the chapel leaders.

Sunday School is held from 10:00-10:45am for children grades PreK & up (parents decide whether a young child is more appropriate for nursery or Sunday School).  Sunday School time includes a prayer, a story, and an activity and classes are led by volunteers. No registration is necessary for Sunday School, just come a few minutes early to help your child get situated.  Sunday School is held in multiple rooms around the building and organized around grades.  Look for signs for the classroom for your child(ren) or please ask a staff member for assistance.

Children’s Worship and Play is held on the second Sunday of the month at 5pm.  The service is geared towards young children (ages 6 and under) with interactive story-time, songs, and Communion.  The 30 minute service is followed by a simple dinner provided by one of the families in the Parish Hall that gives the children time to play and the adults time to get to know and support one another.
