Our young adult group hosts social events quarterly, has a winter education/formation series, and participates in all aspects of the life of the parish from choir to Sunday School teaching to outreach events. About 10% of our congregation are young adults. Examples of 20s/30s Group Events:
- Backyard Dinner at the Rectory
- Halloween Candy distribution to trick-or-treaters
- Thanksgiving Family Night outreach ministry
- January small group education series
- Egg-stuffing for the Easter egg hunt
The quilters meet at 7:30 pm most Monday evenings in the Upper Rooms of the Parish Hall. Experience with sewing or Christ Church membership are not required. For more information about the quilters qroup or raffle ticket availability contact the quilter co-chairs: Linda Mellgren or Andrea Harles.
Brew Crew meets every six weeks to brew and bottle together in the church kitchen on a Sunday afternoon. They experiment with making different kinds of beer, hold consumption parties, and often provide beer for church fellowship events.
If you are looking for faith formation and relationship-building, consider one of our high-commitment small groups that meets for 8 weeks to share personal stories and offer support and reflection with one another. Small groups are formed in the fall and winter – watch the announcements in August and December to indicate your willingness to participate or send an email to Rev. Serena Sides at firstname.lastname@example.org.
