The transition process involves both a period of self assessment by the parish prior to posting a vacancy announcement, and a time of review and discernment once candidates submit their applications. Follow our progress through the regularly posted updates below.
Transition Update – February 2nd, 2020
The application deadline was December 3, 2019. On December 12, the Search Committee met and formally began reviewing applications for our rector position. After a holiday break, the committee met again on January 16, 2020 and continued reviewing the application packets. The committee will meet on February 1 to select candidates for first round interviews. The first-round interviews will begin in February and will be conducted with the full committee via Skype. After the first-round interviews, the committee will decide which candidates to interview in person in the second round. Each candidate in the second round will be visited in their home parish by two committee members.
