Reopening Resources & Information

Christ Church + Washington Parish offers IN-Person Worship Services at 9am and 11am and Continues to broadcast 11am virtual services.

Sunday outdoor service is available at 9am on the church front lawn, weather permitting, and in the church sanctuary at 11am. Both services will include communion (bread only) and Children’s Chapel will be offered at the 9am service. Fully vaccinated people do not need to wear masks outside; however, please maintain 6ft distance from anyone who is wearing a mask. Masks must be worn inside the church and the buildings at all times by all people. If you are attending the outdoor service at 9am, please bring a chair/blanket and dress for the weather. The 9am service and Children’s Chapel will be moved inside if bad weather. For both services, we request that you enter through the front entrance (G St) and please check in with an usher. The parking lot will be available, but we request that you walk through the alley. The building will be open for handicap access and restroom use.

Christ Church developed and submitted a plan to move into Phase Two of reopening our facilities in July 2020 and this plan was approved by Bishop Mariann Edgar Budde. A copy of the approved plan is available here. In order to implement that plan, the entire staff and lay leadership of the congregation have devoted a large percentage of our time toward implementing the plan for in-person worship and gatherings. We will continue to offer live broadcast worship on Sundays at 11am on our Watch Online page and Facebook as well as worship via Zoom during the week for those people who are not comfortable attending in-person services. To get the Zoom links for Wednesday Morning Service at 7:30am and/or Thursday Evening Compline at 8:30pm, please email the church office.
