It’s All Saints Sunday, and today we celebrate the lives of the saints; all those who have lived life with love, and now live in peace and joy with God. But, that’s not all there is to this day of celebration. Today we also recognize that we are the saints now, in training. That training is all about learning to do one thing: spreading light, being light, in a darkened world.
I’d Rather Be…
Where would you rather be? We seem to live these days wishing to be somewhere else than where we are. For many of us, just about any other place would suffice. But, for our Psalm writer, there is only one place that he would rather be, and that is in the House of the Lord.
