Welcome to Christ Church ✝ Washington Parish on Capitol Hill! We are a welcoming, diverse, and joyous Episcopal community of faith committed to nurturing its members and neighbors through worship and service. If you are looking for a new church home or just somewhere to worship this Sunday, join us at Christ Church to find a warm welcome.
Come and Worship
Sundays at 9am and 11am
Holy Eucharist at both services
We are not the first people to live during an era of high anxiety and emotion. In this four-part series, we will draw on the Book of Common Prayer and the lives of Christians: St. Benedict (4-8), Frederick Law Olmsted (4-15), W.H. Auden (4-22), and Frances Perkins (4-29). Drop-ins welcome.
During the 9am and 11am services, we will celebrate the gift of long-term relationships. As part of this, we will have a station for the blessing of marriages during communion for those who want to participate.
Vision for the Future
Christ Church is a landmark building on Capitol Hill, but more importantly it is our spiritual home, where we gather to worship, socialize, raise our families, and do God’s work in the world.
