At Christ Church, we relish the opportunity to build fellowship and community throughout the year. Some of our most beloved annual gatherings are below, but please check out our Events Calendar for an up-to-date listing of these special events, as well as our smaller group meetings.
Kick-off Sunday (September) – We start the program year off with a festive gathering and new member welcome. Sunday School resumes shortly thereafter (after a summer hiatus) and the Christ Church Choir returns from the summer break.
Thanksgiving (November) – After our Thanksgiving morning service at 11am, we often gather for Thanksgiving lunch in the Parish Hall.
St. Nick’s Dinner and Auction (December) – This fundraising event celebrates the season with food, friends, and a visit from St. Nick for the children.
Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper (February) – On the evening before Ash Wednesday, we gather for pancakes, sausage, bacon, and other breakfast foods for dinner. The children can help to burn last year’s palms into ashes for the next day.
St. Patrick’s Fundraiser & Dinner (March) – This annual event celebrates our community and raises money for Christ Church.
Easter Reception and Egg Hunt (April) – At 10 a.m. on Easter, we host a lively egg hunt with a visit from the Easter bunny! Join us for joyful coffee receptions after both services.
July 4th Picnic (July) – We gather to celebrate our country’s Independence with a potluck picnic before the fireworks.
Grill and Chill (July) Our summer grill-outs are a great opportunity for congregants and neighbors to mingle as children play on the lawn. Bring a side or dessert to share.
