Contemplative Service
Advent is a time to slow down and reflect on the ways God is present. This year due to the ongoing pandemic, we will offer a recorded Contemplative Service on Tuesday, December 15 at 7pm via Facebook Live. Together virtually we will gather for music, poetry, Scripture, and prayer. The service will be available here.
Blessing of the Animals – Christ Church Front Lawn and Congressional Cemetery
This year we will have 2 locations to receive in person Pet Blessings: on the church front lawn at 12:30pm and at Congressional Cemetery from 3pm – 4pm. Bring your pets – dogs, cats, fish, stuffed animals – for a blessing celebrating St. Francis and his love of animals. You can also bring a photo of a beloved pet to be remembered. Farewell Sunday Service & Virtual Coffee Hour
Farewell to Rev. Rick Miles and D’aun: This Sunday will be the last Sunday that Interim Rector Rev. Rick Miles will be serving at Christ Church.
